Arrested Brit faces years in jail over alleged tourist knifing outside Magaluf club
The suspect, believed to be 30 years old, was arrested after an attack in the Spanish resort on Thursday night.
It is understood the arrest came after a partier was injured when a blade was brandished during a fight outside a nightclub.
The suspect hasn't been publicly named but is thought to be from Liverpool.
He has been charged with causing injury with a "dangerous instrument".
The offence can be punished with a jail term of up to five years.
The alleged victim, who is a 26-year-old Brit, was apparently stabbed in the back in the brawl.
Magaluf is very popular with young British tourists for its vibrant nightlife.
Many stag and hen parties visit the main strip, Punta Ballena, to enjoy boozy weekends away.
